Met with a friend yesterday and we stitched around my dining room table till my hubby came home. I'm a-working on that mystery. Pretty close to a finish.
Made spaghetti with scallops and arugula for dinner and then we went to our homeowners association meeting.
Where we learned the bad news about our former management company. The owner's son has been accused of embezzeling more than $2 million from his father's company. The company has declared bankruptcy and the insurance company is disputing the claim. Our homeowners association is most likely out $8500. I guess we should be glad it isn't more. But somehow this seems so wrong.
