My First Rock n Roll Sampler

This is the result of an EGA chapter challenge which was the view out my window. I went all over the place with ideas. Finally decided I wanted something that made me think of waking up at the lake in the morning in the bedroom with east facing window. Now it was all about sunshine and I started thinking I needed words. Hence, the line from the Donovan song. I designed and stitched in less than 2 weeks and if I did it again I would use Q-snaps because the bargello bands tilted the linen and no amount of tugging while lacing it would straighten it out.
