Mystery Stitching

My apologies for having nothing to show.

But I do have tell.

I managed to swing by Woodlawn today and found that I snagged an honorable mention for this:

I can't believe I never took a photo of this once it was framed. It is a handpainted canvas by j child designs.

Anyway. Yeah for me!

Oh. And though the tag does not say it (funny how they cannot accommodate two stitchers on one tag), I stitched quite a lot of the 2nd place winning Gingko leaves being exhibited by Sara Leigh Merrey.

Yippee! Congratulations on the honorabe mention. And congratulations to you on the Gingko! You really did do the bulk of the work. And I can't believe they didn't put your name on. I know they've done that in the past because JoAnn and Ruth Dilts stitched one of those altar cushions (or whatever they're called) last year. I'll have to go over there and see if they'll fix that. Sheesh! If I'd known they wouldn't list you, I'd have left off my name.

Woo Hoo, you! Sooooo lovely! (And yes, I've been sitting here for half an hour with the pic magnified so that I could see all of the fabulous stitches you used.) Just wonderful work!

Congratulations on both your prizes. How exciting. I need to get down to Woodlawn!

Love the new banner photo of Liberty's.
