I should go put some polish on the toes as it's definitely sandal weather today. Though technically I've been wearing sandals for the past week. I prefer barefoot to shoes, but I do love my shoes.
I was so bummed that I found a pair of Chucks at Marshall's that were covered in white sheep with one black sheep near the heal and they were two sizes too big! I wanted those shoes. Darn. Ah well. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't.
Totally cleaned DS's room yesterday. Went through everything except his dresser. Much to the kitties chagrin I removed several pillows from under the bed and tossed them in the garbage. Bought a new curtain. New sheets. New pillows. New lamps - one of the old ones was rather finicky about when it would work - a consequence of the move from Colorado to NY several years ago. Found some of our music and some of our DVDs. Realized that someone still has all his plastic soldiers and matchbox cars. Of course all the dust made my allergies go off even while I'm taking Zyrtec. I should have used the neti pot and rinsed out my nose. Now the room is ready for visitors.
As for the toy thing. I've got plenty that we plan on keeping. Lots and lots of Legos. Playmobil. Brio. American Girl dolls. Barbie dolls. Micro machines. It's ridiculous.

When we moved from northern California to Las Vegas four years ago, I started getting a pedicure monthly. Either in Hawaii or Vegas there are only a couple of winter months in Vegas that I don't wear sandals. I'd be be bummed too if I saw sheep shoes, but not in my size. Did you check the net?
I checked the 'net.Unfortunately they cost twice as much as at Marshalls. And basically I'm a frugal New Englander at heart.
